Malam ni merupakan malam yang sungguh malang bagi aku apabila tengan aku tiba-tiba tekan format pada drive yang mengandungi OS VISTA ULTIMATE aku,ape lagi dah tentu VISTA tu tak boleh digunakan lagi.Dan yang paling aku tak suka ialah ketika proses boot,system akan tanya samada kita nak masuk XP ke VISTA.Untuk makluman anda semua,aku guna dual-boot iaitu drive C: XP dan drive E: VISTA ULTIMATE.
Disebabkan aku tak tahu sangat macam mana nak buang list VISTA masa proses boot tu,aku buka satu topik di putera.Akhirnya aku dapat 1 langkah yang sungguh mudah,dan alhamdulillah akhirnya berjaya juga aku selesaikan masalah.Sebelum ni aku main format je bila nak buang VISTA kat drive E aku tu.Dibawah ni aku sertakan langkah bagaimana nak buang serpihan-serpihan VISTA ni.
- Boot your computer in to Windows XP.
- Ensure you have the Vista DVD image emulated or in the DVD drive.
- Go to “Start” and “Run”. Type in “e:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force” (without quotes, and replacing e: with the drive letter of your Vista DVD).
- Restart the computer, and you will notice the boot selection menu is gone.
- Format the partition/drive where you had Vista installed.
- Remove two files (Boot.BAK & Bootsect.BAK) on your XP drive’s root folder (C:), these were backup files of your previous bootloader, now no longer useful.
- Optional: Restart to ensure it still works.
- Use your partition software to merge your partitions together.
